Accepted Copper Scrap Types:
- Copper No. 1 (Bare Bright Copper): High-quality scrap, including pure, uncoated, non-alloyed copper wire or pipe with 99%+ copper content
- Copper No. 2: Slightly lower quality, including oxidized or coated copper wire and pipe with some impurities; still recyclable but requires further refining
- Copper Turnings & Chips: Small copper debris generated as a by-product in machining or manufacturing processes, often melted down for reuse
- Copper Wire Scrap (Insulated): Copper wire with insulation, which must be stripped before recycling, but the copper remains valuable
- Mixed Copper Scrap (Motors, Radiators, and Pipes): Combinations of copper-containing materials, such as old motors, radiators, and pipes, which require sorting and processing before recycling
